NETSPARK'S DYNAMIC INTERNET GUARD RECOGNIZED BY THE NATIONAL PARENTING CENTER
for its robust filtering capabilities and simplicity of use
SUNNYVALE, California, August 24, 2010 - NetSpark Ltd., a leading developer of Internet Filtering technologies, today announced that the Dynamic Internet Guard product line has received The Natinoal Parenting Center's Seal Approval, 2010. NetSpark's Dynamic Internet Guard is a complete internet filtering suite, designed to give users maximal access to the content of the internet while still being able to decide, ultimately, what content enters or is blocked from entering their home. This is achieved using NetSpark's unique advanced inspection technology, Quilting - a secondary inspection process applied automatically, and in real-time, to accessible web content that rebuilds web pages with inappropriate text and graphic elements removed before the page is delivered to the end-user.
"Testing this new web-filtering solution designed for service provider...we discovered a truly powerful filtering system that any parent would be well advised to urge their Internet provider to offer."
The National Parenting Center's Seal of Approval program is an independent testing procedure conducted to judge a variety of products introduced and marketed to the parent/child consumer market. The testing involves a multi-step process conducted over an eight week period. Staffed by volunteers, the testing facility of The National Parenting Center gives parents, children, and educators the opportunity to examine a variety of submitted products. Participants fill out questionnaires for each product they test, with final test results based on both statistical averaging and comments received from the parent/testers.
The Seal of Approval program is designed to continue the efforts of The National Parenting Center, which was chartered in 1989 to help create better informed parents as they tackle the challenges of parenting in the new millennium.
"Internet Filtering is not about limiting access or creating barriers. It's primarily a matter of responsibility and empowerment. Just as we wouldn't leave knives lying around the home for our kids to play with, here at NetSpark we are interested in creating solutions that put parents in control of the web content they are bringing into their home, and increase awareness of what is going on under their roof, so that they can continue to provide a secure and nurturing home for everyone in the family. We're honored to be recognized by the National Parenting Center and hope that it helps extend the reach of our message."
The National Parenting Center has been authorized to dispense this valuable information, which has been provided by these experts, to as many parents as possible through whatever means possible. To that end, The National Parenting Center created and maintains interactive systems allowing parents to access the expert panel. Additionally, parents may obtain the advice of the experts through written transcripts, letters, brochures, newsletters, the Internet, etc.
The National Parenting Center's Seal of Approval program, created in 1990 as an adjunct to TNPC's support services, identifies the finest products and services being marketed to the parent/child audience. From educational and entertainment products and equipment to travel destinations, the consumer oriented testing process solicits evaluations from parents and their children. This award signifies to other parents that their peers have acknowledged a product's quality and desirability based on a wide variety of determining factors.
