Because inappropriate content is not limited to regular HTTP sites, NetSpark provides users the option to also include SSL secured content for inspection.
Optional extension of Quilting and inspection processes to include HTTPS (SSL Secured) sites, at the user's discretion.
When enabled, content is unencrypted for inspection and Quilting on NetSpark’s secure servers, and then re-encrypted and delivered securely under NetSpark’s SSL certificate to the end user. Full transparency to the status of the original SSL certificate status is maintained to ensure maximal credibility.
Once enabled, users can add particular IP Addresses to a ‘Do not inspect’ list (similar to the White List found under Website Exceptions) to maintain the security of confidential sites such as email, banking and account management profiles.
Setup is as simple as a few clicks of the mouse to enable the feature and store NetSpark’s security certificate within the user’s web browser.
